Our client had an issue with his electric sunroof on his car, the metal slider on one side was broken due to material wear.
Since he could not find any replacement parts on the market we managed to reproduce the broken part, our engineering team optimized the part by adding material on certain sections of the part. The material we used was stainless steel, which got polished to work properly.
For scientific research our client is currently testing a prototype, we adapted their parts for additive manufacturing in order to do the first field tests of their project.
We used Nylon PA22 for this mechanical application.
That shiny piece is chromalised plastic and it was to feeble for its function in a shower. On top of that spare parts are impossible to get.
So for our client we made a spare part and it is a lot tougher than the original part because it has been created in 3D-printed aluminium. The file necessary for printing was created with 3D-Scanning technology and CAD-design.
En juillet-août 2016 nous avons utilisé l’impression 3D pour produire une maquette en bronze du nouveau Centre de jeunesse Märjendall. De 2010 à 2016 l’Administration des bâtiments publics a procédé à une rénovation complète de l’ancien monastère. Architecte du projet est Léon Glodt et le Studio Polenta a assuré la signalétique du projet. Sur la maquette en bronze, placée dans la cour du centre, les différents bâtiments et places du centre sont numérotés et une légende facilite aux visiteurs du centre de s’y retrouver.
Légende comprise la maquette fait 1035 x 759 mm. Elle a été coulée en bronze de 6mm d’épaisseur par notre partenaire suisse.
Le bronze est une matière qui est très bien adaptée aux maquettes exposées aux intempéries.
Some time ago we produced a batch of 1/100 reproductions of the satellite dishes engineered and produced by HITEC Luxembourg.
Now we took the same project to a new scale and produced 3 reproductions in scale 1/33,3 of each their LM06 and their LM09 antennas.
Whereas the smaller 1/100 models are well suited as a gift, the new bigger models are to be shown at expos and in meetings.

What’s better to celebrate innovation than … an innovation.
For the Fit for innovation program established by Luxinnovation Patisserie Schumacher from Wormeldange has produced chocolates reflecting the logo of the program.
The moulds used to produce the chocolates were designed and produced by 3DPrint.lu. All that was needed was the two-dimensional file of the logo.
Before production of the mould rendered images helped validate the design.
Pour une entreprise comme Binsfeld & Bintener l’innovation ne s’arrête pas à la porte de l’atelier. Pour fêter son soixantième anniversaire l’entreprise a offert des pralines chocolat produites avec l’aide de l’impression 3D.
Sur un design de Claude Gaasch nous avons conçu et produit, avec l’aide de l’impression 3D, une série de moules en silicone.
La pâtisserie Christian Schumacher a ensuite utilisé ces moules pour produire des milliers de petits “BB” en chocolat.
