Instead of replacing the entire motor subassembly due to the broken part, we modelled a new gear based on the existing part using CAD and 3D printed it in nylon (PA12) using Multi Jet Fusion (MJF).

The resulting in a strong and durable gear (a conclusion we took by testing the functionality of the part).

This procedure can be made for any gear.
